The Los Alamos Valley Men’s Club’s legendary “Cook Your Own” nights are a cherished community tradition, blending great food with great company. Held on select Friday evenings at the LAVMC Clubhouse, this long-standing event invites locals and visitors to fire up the club’s red oak barbecue pits and cook their own dinner — Santa Maria-style.
Choose from beef, chicken, or fish to grill just the way you like it. The Club supplies the side dishes, a full bar, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back. Whether you’re a seasoned pitmaster or simply there to enjoy the vibe, Cook Your Own nights are a perfect way to relax and connect.
Family-friendly and open to the public, the event also supports a good cause — with proceeds benefiting local youth programs and community initiatives. Come for the grill, stay for the good times. Cook Your Own is a true Los Alamos experience.
