Boots, Buckles and 80 Years of Memories!
Los Alamos is getting ready for a milestone celebration! The 80th Annual Los Alamos Old Days returns September 25–27, 2026, bringing three days of food, music, family activities, classic cars, contests and longtime traditions back to Los Alamos.
Hosted by the Los Alamos Valley Men’s Club, this year’s celebration marks eight decades of neighbors, families and visitors gathering to celebrate the history and community spirit that make Los Alamos special.
A special thank you goes to our 2026 Title Sponsor, the 1880 Union Hotel & Saloon, for helping us celebrate this historic 80th year.
Friday, September 25 – Let The Celebration Begin!
Old Days kicks off Friday evening at the Los Alamos Valley Men’s Club.
Beginning at 6 PM, join us for the Buck Contest Dinner, followed by live music from Red Oak Country.
It’s a great way to start the weekend, reconnect with friends and get into the Old Days spirit before Saturday’s festivities take over town.

Saturday, September 26 – Bell Street Comes Alive
Saturday brings a full day of activities throughout Los Alamos.
From 9 AM–3 PM, stroll Bell Street for the Old Days Car Show and Artisan Faire. Classic automobiles, local artisans and plenty of Old Days atmosphere will make Bell Street the place to be.
Families can head to Ferrini Park from 10 AM–3 PM for the Kids Carnival, Bounce Houses and Soft Play, sponsored by the Los Alamos Valley Men’s Club.
Goat Pebble Bingo gets underway at 11 AM.
Hungry? Food vendors will be on Centennial Street from 11 AM–2 PM
At the LAVMC clubhouse, Whiskey Bent BBQ begins serving its popular Tri Tip Sandwiches at noon, and the bar opens at noon as well.
Don’t miss the Dog Parade at Ferrini Park at noon, sponsored by Ron & Betty Ziegler. Four-legged Old Days participants are welcome to join the fun!
Then Saturday night, head back to LAVMC at 6 PM for Cook Your Own and live music by The Fossils. The Bar will be OPEN so bring your thirst and appetite and your dancing shoes.

Sunday, September 27 – Parade Day!
Sunday begins at 9 AM with the Element Christian Church Service at Ferrini Park.
At 9:30 AM, runners and walkers hit the course for the Old Days 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by Cal Swoosh.
The Artisan Faire continues on Bell Street from 9 AM–3 PM, while Kids Activities at Ferrini Park run from 10 AM–3 PM, including Happy Kiddos Rentals Soft Play and Bounce Houses sponsored by Element Christian Church.
Then comes one of the biggest Old Days traditions of them all.
The Biggest Little Parade!
At 11 AM, find your favorite spot along Bell Street for the Biggest Little Parade.
For generations, the Old Days Parade has brought families, friends and visitors together along historic Bell Street. In our 80th year, it’s one tradition you won’t want to miss.
Following the parade, there’s still plenty happening around town.
Food Vendors return to Centennial Street from 11 AM–2 PM, while the LAVMC bar opens at 11 AM.
At noon, barbecue takes center stage with the Old Days BBQ Contest at LAVMC, and Whiskey Bent BBQ will once again be serving Tri Tip Sandwiches.
From 12–2 PM, enjoy live music by Chris & Brett at LAVMC.
Old Days Contests Return To Ferrini Park
Sunday afternoon brings two crowd favorites back to Ferrini Park.
💦 At 1 PM, get ready for the Water Balloon Toss.
🍉 At 1:30 PM, it’s time for the Watermelon Eating Contest, sponsored by Spencer’s Fresh Markets.
Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines, these are the wonderfully simple traditions that make Old Days feel like Old Days.
Come Celebrate 80 Years With Us!
From Friday night’s dinner and music to Saturday’s Car Show and family activities, Sunday’s 5K and parade, barbecue, live entertainment and classic contests, there’s something happening all weekend long.
More importantly, it’s another opportunity for our community to come together.
For 80 years, generations have made memories at Los Alamos Old Days. In 2026, it’s our turn to make a few more.
