Happy summer to all of you!
Many thanks to the Soderquists for providing dinner this past month; you can’t go wrong with pizza. Our General Meeting was short and sweet in May- we covered some Old Days updates, insurance renewals, a spring fling recap, and rental increases.
Speaking of Spring Fling, between the live and silent auctions, reverse drawing, and the bar/dinner we netted around $35,000. All of this of course, because of the hard work of our spring fling committee chairs Penny and Ray and their fabulous committee members. My hat is off to all of you!
This month in Men’s Club fun, we are hosting the second Old Days Bingo to raise money to keep it on Bell Street! Bingo will be on June 21st and more details are in the “Old Days Bingo” section below. But, in case you don’t read that far, we could use someone to run the kitchen and some volunteers to help in the kitchen. If that is an area you could provide support, please contact Shirley. She (and we) really appreciate it!
We will be meeting on Thursday, June 20th for our monthly membership meeting. Same time and place as always; doors will open at 5:30, dinner will be at 6:15, and the meeting will start at 7pm. We are still looking for someone to serve dinner at this month’s meeting! If you’re available please reach out to Kylin or Kristy. We would REALLY appreciate it. And remember, it doesn’t have to be a solo mission; you can make dinner with your friends.
